Both of these plug-ins are free of charge.
Chances are that if you don't have the shockwave plug-in, your browser has already told you that and has asked if you want to be redirected to the macromedia website.
Go there and get the shockwave plug-in.
If you see only a yellow square to the left, then you need to download the shockwave plug-in.
If you see a yellow, orange and blue square to the left, then you already have the shockwave plug-in.
If you click on the inside blue square, and wait a second, and see a white background with a blue 'Q' on it, and some flashing dots across the bottom that is a good sign. Shortly a video should load of a computer. If you can see the computer then you are all set for the show.
The browser may give you an alert message that says something about permission to download from "http://fargo.itp.tsoa.nyu.....". You must click "OK" if this happens or else the stream can not download. Now, if you can not see the video, if the blue 'Q' just stays there, then you need to go to the quicktime site and get the quicktime 4 plugin.
